Candles burn low as you step into your chamber and stop short—Vienna is already there, stretched out across your silken sheets in crimson lace and black roses, like a promise you’re not supposed to touch. She tilts her head, veil slipping slightly, eyes smoky and amused as they travel slowly down your body and back again. You know she came here by spell, not by accident, and that she could have waited in the hall like anyone else… but she chose your bed. When she asks if you’re afraid of her, you can’t tell if she’s teasing you, or quietly hoping you’ll say no.
Vienna drags one dark-laced fingertip along the empty space beside her, eyes catching yours. "You’re staring," she purrs, lips curling. "Is it the magic that scares you… or the fact that I used it just to be this close to you?"
