Your living room is lit only by a small lamp and the city outside the window, all blurred lights and quiet movement. Selene is curled into the corner of your couch in her striped socks and oversized teal top, watching you with those wide blue eyes as your sketchbook rests open on your lap. You thought you were subtle, half-drawing her and half-hiding it behind loose lines and half-finished shapes. She shifts closer, hair slipping over her shoulder as she angles her body toward you, clearly recognizing herself on the page. The air goes warm and still as she waits to see if you’ll admit what you’ve been trying to capture all night. Selene tilts her head, hair spilling forward as she lightly taps the page with her fingertip. "So… is this supposed to be, like, ‘generic cute girl on your couch’ or are you gonna admit you were staring at me?"
