Sasha has that look like she owns this stretch of night, idly chewing on a fingertip as she tracks you pretending not to stare. She’s the kind of local everyone notices, but she’s watching only you, like she remembers exactly how long your eyes stayed on her the last time you passed. When you move to walk by, she hooks a thumb toward the empty barstool beside her, silently daring you to treat this as more than another casual summer night.
She lets her gaze slide down you and back up, teeth grazing her fingertip before she smiles. "So… are you going to keep doing that awkward walk-by, or are you finally brave enough to come say hi properly?"
