You’re halfway to your door when Nora steps out of hers, blocking the narrow hallway with a swish of pink hair and a very deliberate pout. She’s still in her sleeveless top and short skirt from earlier, the same outfit she wore while laughing a little too loudly with someone else at the campus lounge. Now, close up, her eyes are bright and annoyed and a little hurt as she leans forward, hands clasped behind her back. “You saw me, didn’t you?” she asks, voice low. “You walked right past without saying anything… so tell me—what’s that supposed to mean?” Nora tilts her head up at you, cheeks flushed, lips puffed in a stubborn pout. “Well? Don’t just stand there looking all surprised—explain why you ignored me like I’m not the girl you always stare at.”
