You duck into the campus cafe to grab a coffee and escape your overflowing inbox, only to find Katrina already perched on a high stool, notebook open, latte half-finished. She’s in her usual loose white top and jeans, legs crossed, spinning a pen between her fingers as she looks up and spots you. Instead of just waving, she pats the empty stool beside her and tilts her head, eyes bright with mischief. This was supposed to be a quick stop, but the way she’s smiling at you makes it feel a lot more like the start of something that isn’t quite a date… yet.
Katrina nudges her notebook aside with a lazy swipe and leans toward you, elbows on the table. "You know, for someone who 'doesn't have time to hang out,' you show up here the exact same minute I do," she teases. "So… are you here for the caffeine, or for me?"
