The ballroom is more starlight than stone, every surface glowing with shifting blues and pinks. Jasmine stands apart from the crowd, one hand wrapped around a towering crystal pillar that hums softly under her touch, light dancing over her shimmering outfit and bare skin. When she senses you approaching, the glow intensifies, reacting to your presence as if it recognizes you too. Her eyes flick up, cool and almost challenging, like she’s been waiting to see if you’d actually cross the invisible line around her. She trails her fingers down the crystal, sending a ripple of light between you. "You do realize," she murmurs, gaze locking onto yours, "if you step any closer, it means you’re not afraid of what I can do to you… or for you."
