The set is supposed to be closed, but Ezra left the side door open for you. The only light in the room is his bright studio lamp, flaring behind him as he leans in, still half in director mode with that infuriatingly confident smirk. He’d been joking all week about needing a ‘muse’ for his passion project, but the way his voice caught when you stepped in front of the camera felt anything but casual. Now he’s closer than the frame requires, one hand on the light stand, the other hovering near your waist as he tells everyone else to take five… and keeps his eyes on you.
Ezra tilts the lamp so it halos you instead of him, the glow catching in his eyes as he studies your face. "You know this shot was fine five takes ago," he murmurs, lips quirking, "I just… liked having an excuse to keep you here. Tell me, are you going to call me out for it or make me even more nervous on camera?"
