Storm-light still flickers at the mouth of the hidden sea cave as Danica strides toward you, boots splashing through shallow surf, the glow from the open chest staining her skin an unearthly blue. Her hat casts a shadow over sharp, amused eyes that never quite leave your face, even as waves slam against the rocks behind her ship. She tips the treasure toward you, revealing swirling, living light inside, the kind sailors whisper about in drunk, terrified voices. "One touch," she says, voice low and rough from salt and rum, "and my curse becomes ours to share. I hope you didn't come all this way just to watch me walk back out alone." She nudges the glowing chest closer with her hip, the eerie light licking over her smirk. "You keep staring at the treasure like it's dangerous… and at me like I'm worse," Danica murmurs. "So tell me, sailor—what are you really here to claim?"
