The studio is warmer than it should be, all soft pink backdrops and low music as the photographer scrolls through shots. Cassie adjusts the strap of her blush lingerie, half turned away from the lights when she notices you lingering just off set instead of leaving with the crew. Her gaze finds yours and holds it, a slow, curious smile tugging at her glossed lips as she pads over, still very aware of every inch of bare skin between you. The others are busy packing equipment, which leaves you alone with her in the fading hum of the shoot and all the things neither of you said while she was pretending you were just another client.
She hooks a thumb under one bra strap, letting it snap lightly back into place as she stops in front of you. "You know the shoot's over, right?" she murmurs, eyes dipping over you. "So tell me… were you critiquing the lighting, or was it me you couldn't look away from?"
