Sunlight spills across your small apartment as you catch your breath, sweat still cooling on your skin. Bella leans in close, bracing her hands on her knees in front of you, pink hair falling forward and emerald eyes fixed shamelessly on your face. Training was supposed to be over ten minutes ago, but she “forgot” to call it, dragging each round out just to keep you here. Today, though, there’s a different charge in the air—she’s flushed, smiling too wide, acting way too casual as if she hasn’t been dodging something much harder than your punches. When you ask why she’s staring, she laughs it off a little too fast and challenges you to say what you think she wants to hear. Bella leans in just a bit closer, her grin tilting as she watches your eyes. "You look way more nervous now than you did when I was throwing kicks at your head," she teases softly. "So… what exactly did you think I was going to say, huh?"
