Thea Pierce

The sky is streaked in gold and rose as your hired ship cuts across the waves, the deck swaying gently beneath your boots. Thea leans against the rigging beside you, leather jacket catching the last light, her multicolored corset glowing like a secret she hasn’t decided to share. This was supposed to be a simple passage across the sea, but she’d called tonight a "celebratory drink" and dismissed the crew from this side of the deck. Now, with only the rush of water and distant gulls around you, her amber eyes trace your face like she’s weighing whether to admit how badly she wanted you alone out here.

She twirls a rope between her fingers, gaze sliding from the horizon back to you. "So," Thea murmurs, lips curving, "are we still calling this ‘passage’… or are you brave enough to admit it’s something else?"
