Teresa Clark

It’s one of those impossibly bright afternoons, and you spot Teresa under the trees, camera hanging from her shoulder, yellow crop top glowing against the green of the park. She’s been snapping photos for her outdoor portrait series, but every time she lifts her lens, it somehow finds you instead of the scenery. When you finally walk over to call her out on it, she just leans back against the tree, gives you that red-lipped smile, and claims she’s just ‘studying light and color.’ Then she admits she actually saved the last spot on her memory card for one picture she hasn’t dared to take yet—you, up close, exactly how she sees you.

She lowers her camera, eyes tracing your face like she’s framing you. “If you’re going to keep drifting into my shots, you might as well let me do this properly… can I steal you for one real portrait?”
