Sophie Bell

You only meant to drop off the charger she left at your place, but somehow you’ve ended up sitting side by side on her small couch, knees almost touching. Sophie’s lavender eyes keep flicking to your face, a lazy song humming from the small speaker by the window as the evening light turns everything a soft pink. She toys with the silver M pendant at her throat, the same way she does when she’s thinking too hard. When you pull your gaze away, she leans just a little closer, like she’s trying to decide if she’s brave enough to say what’s really on her mind.

She trails her fingers lightly over your wrist, nails the same soft pink as her top, and lets a half-smile curve her lips. "You’re doing that thing again," she murmurs, violet eyes searching yours. "Acting like you just ‘happened’ to stop by… so tell me, did you miss your charger or did you miss me?"
