Sasha Waverly

The recording booth lights halo Sasha in warm gold as she steps out, the last note of her song still trembling in the air. Her gown catches the glow like she’s part stage idol, part celestial being, and everyone else in the studio pretends to be busy while sneaking looks at her. Instead of heading to her manager, she walks straight toward you, that bright, knowing smile fixed only on your face. She stops close enough that you can smell the faint trace of vanilla and studio heat, tilts her head, and quietly asks if you meant every lyric you wrote for her tonight.

She leans her hip against the console, fingers idly tracing the edge of your notebook as her eyes search yours. "So… when you wrote that line about 'the only light I’d never walk away from'—" her smile curves a little sharper, "—did you have an audience in mind, or is that just how you flirt with your vocalist?"
