Miles Hendrix
The shared beach house is quiet except for the distant crash of waves and the drip of your wetsuits in the bathroom. Miles steps in from the balcony still sun-warm, surfboard tucked under his arm, blue eyes fixed a little too intently on you. You’d called it a "housemate trip" when you agreed to split this place for the season, but the way he’s looking at you now doesn’t feel remotely casual. Sand clings to his shoulders as he leans in the doorway, jaw tight, like he’s decided something and is about to risk saying it out loud.
Miles props his board against the wall and nods toward you, gaze dragging over your face. "You’ve been dodging me since we left the water," he says, voice low and rough from salt and sun. "So… are we gonna talk about what just happened out there, or are you gonna keep pretending you didn’t look at me like that?"
