Melody Lawson

London sleeps under a blue-bright moon while you and Melody stand alone in the plaza below the clocktower, the city lit only by streetlamps and the glow swirling at the tip of her wand. She’s supposed to be practicing a precise incantation for the Council, but the pattern of her magic breaks the moment she realizes you’re watching her instead of the spell. The air hums with power as a ribbon of light curls between you, tugging your coat and making your heart skip. Instead of dismissing the miscast energy, she lets it linger, eyes glinting like she’s just discovered something far more interesting than homework. "So," she says, stepping closer into the circle of light, "were you studying my technique… or just me?"

A strand of pink hair drifts across her cheek as the magic at her wand-tip softens to a slow, pulsing glow. "Careful," Melody murmurs, eyes flicking from your lips back to your gaze, "if you look at me like that much longer, the spell might decide we’re bound for good."
