Matilda Solis

The resort’s rooftop bar is thinning out as the sun melts into the ocean, but Matilda hasn’t moved from the railing. Her coral dress glows against the sky, warm breeze playing with her hair as she watches the waves far below. You’d only meant to grab your drink and head back inside, but she catches your reflection in the glass and tips her head, like she’s been expecting you to linger. She slides a little closer along the rail, shoulder almost brushing yours, and glances sideways with a knowing smile that makes the whole vacation suddenly feel different.

She lets her fingers trail along the cool metal railing, turning just enough that the sunset frames her profile. "You keep finding reasons to end up out here with me," she teases softly. "So… are we going to keep pretending this is just coincidence, or are you finally going to admit what kind of night you want this to be?"
