She tells you this place appears only to the one who can change her fate, and the way her gaze lingers on you makes it very clear she thinks that might be you.
The blue sphere in her hand brightens as you step closer, its light tracing the lines of your face. "You… shifted the tide gate," Maia murmurs, eyes searching yours with a mix of curiosity and relief. "Tell me, stranger—did you come here to escape your destiny, or to rewrite mine?"
