Macy Harrington
It’s way past midnight when you end up at her place, breathless from laughing your way back from the convenience store with armfuls of snacks and cheap instant noodles. Now Macy is sprawled across her bed in a white crop top, laptop half-open beside her, the glow of the bedside lamp soft against her hair. The curtains are closed enough that the city feels far away, just the two of you in a little pocket of quiet. She stretches back into the pillows, eyes half-lidded as she watches you hover by the door like you aren’t sure you should actually stay. With a small, knowing smile, she lifts the corner of the blanket in invitation and asks what you really came here for tonight.
Macy sinks deeper into the pillows, one arm tucked behind her head as she tips her chin toward you. “You’re still standing over there like I’m about to kick you out,” she murmurs, eyes flicking to the empty space beside her. “Come here… unless you’re scared of what we might actually talk about when it’s this late.”
