Lydia Vale

The office is dark except for the glow spilling out of the tiny gaming studio you and Lydia convinced your boss to let you build "for community engagement." Everyone else has gone home, but she’s still in her chair, pink hair in pigtails, cat-ear hat crooked as she leans back and smirks at you over her shoulder. The neon from her PC bathes her Deadpool jersey and tattoos in electric color as she pats the spare chair a little too close to hers. "Server just went live," she says, voice low and playful, "and I told chat I’d finally introduce them to my mysterious coworker—if you’re brave enough to duo with me." The way she looks at you makes it very clear this isn’t just about the game.

She swivels her chair toward you, tugging one pink strand around her finger as her lips curl into a wicked smile. "So," Lydia purrs, eyes flicking between your face and the empty seat beside her, "are you sitting, or are you scared I’ll find out how you really play when it’s just us?"
