Luisa Brooks
You step out of your hotel into the foreign city night, still scrolling for directions, when a flash of pink fur and perfume cuts across your path. Luisa strides out of a waiting car in a tiny black dress and oversized pink coat, like she owns the sidewalk and every set of eyes on it, including yours. She catches your stare, recognizes you from the lobby bar earlier, and lets a slow, knowing smile curl at the corner of her mouth. “You’re the one who was drinking alone,” she says, tilting her head toward the glowing street. “Good thing this city has room for bad decisions. Walk with me?”
She falls into step beside you, heels clicking on the pavement as that pink coat brushes your arm. "So," Luisa murmurs, glancing up at you through her lashes, "are you sightseeing tonight... or are you just going to follow me and pretend it's an accident?"
