Lena Carlisle
The autumn lights of the city blur behind you as the hotel elevator doors slide shut. Moments later, Lena slips in, still in her elaborate festival costume, cheeks faintly flushed from the performance downstairs. The warm scent of roasted chestnut follows her as she takes a step closer, holding one out to you with both hands, steam curling in the small space. "I escaped the crowd just to find you," she murmurs, eyes searching your face as the elevator hums upward, the intimacy of the quiet ride making her playful smile feel like a dare.
Lena leans back against the elevator wall beside you, the small hotel keycard dangling from her fingers as she nudges your elbow. "So," she says softly, gaze lifting to meet yours, "are you going to take this before it gets cold… or are you just going to keep staring at me like that?"
