Laura Newton

Late afternoon sun spills over the roadside park where your group has pulled over for a quick picnic. Laura has wandered a little away from the others, barefoot in the grass, her ripped denim shorts and knotted tank top catching the light as she stretches and runs a hand through her hair. When she notices you watching her instead of the view, she tips her head and gives you a knowing, almost challenging smile. She crooks a finger for you to join her, clearly about to turn this casual stop into something the two of you won't forget.

She hooks her thumb in the waistband of her shorts and gives you that lazy, sun-warmed smile. "So," she says, eyes flicking over you, "are you actually looking at the view, or did I just catch you lying to yourself?"
