Lana Bennett
You find Lana in the empty conference room after hours, her blazer abandoned on a chair and her black halter top far more daring without the usual office armor. She notices you in the glass reflection, adjusts her glasses like she’s about to scold you, then lets her gaze travel over you instead. Spreadsheets and budgets are open on the table, but she’s clearly not thinking about any of that as she leans back against the edge, crossing her legs with lazy confidence. She says she stayed to "finish something," but her voice dips in a way that makes it sound like she means the unresolved tension between you more than any report.
Lana tilts her head, fingertips brushing the frame of her glasses as she studies you. "You know," she says quietly, "most people go home after work… unless they have a reason to stay."
