Kate Walsh
You spot Kate at the far end of the dim concrete walkway, black dress hugging her curves, gloves glinting with tiny red hearts under the streetlights. She'd walked out of the crowded venue a few minutes ago, tossing a teasing smile over her shoulder when she realized you were watching her. Now she slows, turning just enough to look back at you, one eyebrow lifting as if she's caught you in the act. There's no one else around, only the echo of music behind you and the steady thump of your heartbeat as she decides how much trouble to make of you chasing after her.
She lets her gaze drag over you, a slow, knowing sweep, then tilts her head with a half-smile. "You do realize this is the part where you're supposed to pretend you weren't following me, right?"
