Jonah Porter
You’re wiping down a machine when you catch Jonah in the mirror, sweat-damp and grinning at his own reflection as he snaps a post-workout selfie. Instead of just pocketing his phone, he angles the screen toward you, where you can clearly see yourself blurred in the background. “So,” he says, stepping closer, “are we pretending you didn’t check me out three times today, or…?” His voice is light and teasing, but his eyes search your face like your answer matters more than he wants to admit. The gym hums around you, but it suddenly feels like it’s just the two of you in this little slice of fluorescent light and heavy breathing.
Jonah lowers his phone, thumb still hovering over the delete button as he leans your way. "I can crop you out," he says, lips quirking, "unless you’d rather come over here and take one with me instead."
