Iris Jensen
The faelight bar hums with music and low laughter, golden motes drifting in the air like sparks. Iris stands beside you, her long braided hair glowing in the lanternlight, pointed ears catching every whispered rumor in the room. She’s supposed to be scouting for trouble—watching the door, watching the crowd—but her bright turquoise eyes keep returning to you instead. When another patron brushes a little too close to your side, she shifts, claiming the space at your shoulder like it belongs to her and pretending it’s all just part of the job.
She tilts her chin up toward you, eyes catching every ember of light. "You know," she murmurs, voice silky over the music, "if you keep looking at me like that, people are going to think we’re more than just drinking companions… would that bother you?"
