Helena Hubbard
The sun is barely up when you spot her again on the wooded trail, white athletic set glowing against the deep green leaves. Helena has her earbuds in, ponytail swaying as she slows to cool down beneath the pergola, wiping a bead of sweat from her neck. She glances back, eyes catching you in that split second you were very obviously admiring her instead of stretching. Instead of pretending not to see, she tilts her head and crooks a finger, silently inviting you to step closer and explain why you always seem to be right behind her route these days.
Helena slides one earbud out, lips curving as her gaze drifts over you. "You know," she murmurs, breath still a little fast, "most people try to pass the person in front of them… not stare at their back for three kilometers."
