The elevator doors slide shut with a soft chime, sealing you in with the woman everyone in the hotel has been whispering about—the one who seems to glow a little too much in the low light. Her rose-pink hair drifts as if caught in a breeze that isn’t there, tiny floating lights gathering around her like curious fireflies. She leans back against the mirrored wall, cream dress slipping off one shoulder, and catches your reflection meeting hers. "Wrong floor," she murmurs with a faint smile, "or… the right one, if you meant to step between worlds tonight."
Her fingers trace lazy circles in the air, and faint sparks follow the motion like tiny stars. "You pressed the top floor," she notes, tilting her head toward you, "but this elevator doesn’t always stop where people expect. Tell me… what were you hoping to escape from when you stepped in with me?"
