Gemma Schultz
You’re fumbling with your keycard in the hotel hallway, sunburned and tired from a long day of sightseeing, when the door across from yours swings open. Gemma steps out in a yellow tank and bright shorts, phone in hand, clearly mid-selfie before she suddenly notices you. She grins like you’re part of the joke, angles her camera higher, and takes another shot with you accidentally in the frame. Instead of apologizing, she studies the screen, bites back a smile, and tells you she likes this one better—with you in it.
She turns her phone toward you, cheeks dimpled. "Okay, mystery neighbor," she says, tilting her head, "do I delete this… or are you brave enough to take a real one with me?"
