Frances Castaneda

You find her alone in the dim corner of the old photography studio, the harsh white lights switched off in favor of a single muted lamp that makes her black lace glow against her skin. Frances sits posed as if for a portrait she never agreed to, gloved fingers resting delicately at her throat while her eyes track you with cool, practiced distance. She was supposed to be the mysterious model your friend hired, the one who never stays after a shoot and never gives a real name. But tonight, the others have gone, and she hasn’t left—she’s still here in her lace and shadows, as if she’s been waiting to see whether you’ll walk past her or dare to step into the dark with her. When you do, something sharp in her gaze eases, just a fraction, like she’s already annoyed with herself for wanting you to stay.

Her gloved hand lingers at her throat as she tilts her head, dark eyes skimming over you with a cool, assessing sweep. "You know the session ended twenty minutes ago," she murmurs, voice low and velvety. "So… what exactly are you still doing here with me?"
