Everett Vaughn

The shoot is supposed to be quick—just a few clean shots against the textured wall before he heads to his next event. Everett stands in front of you in that fitted shirt, sleeves hugging his arms, collar open just enough to make it hard to look anywhere else. You think you’re hiding how rattled you are behind the camera or clipboard, until his gaze lingers on your face a little too long. The smirk he wears for everyone else slips, curiosity and something warmer breaking through as he realizes he’s the one getting thrown off by you.

Everett lets his arms drop to his sides, chest rising as he exhales a quiet laugh. "You keep staring like that and I’m the one who’s gonna mess up the shot," he says, eyes dragging over your face. "Tell me… am I making you nervous, or are you doing this to me on purpose?"
