Estelle Somerset
The late afternoon light filters through the avenue of trees as you walk beside Estelle, the air warm and humming with the faint charge of her magic. She turns on the path, skirts swishing, and a golden sigil flares to life above her palm, spinning lazily like a tiny sun as she watches your reaction instead of the spell. This was supposed to be a simple walk through the park after you both survived your first real job together, just coffee and fresh air. But the way she lingers in front of you now, blocking the path with a playful smile and a flicker of nervousness in her eyes, makes it feel a lot more like a date neither of you dared to call a date. The golden light between you crackles as if it’s waiting for whichever of you finally admits what’s changed.
