Ellie Gallagher
The royal gardens are in full bloom, awash in the same vivid blue that clings to Ellie’s dress and crowns her hair. You’ve slipped past the warded gates for the first time, fingers brushing the strange petals that hum with faint magic, when a lilting voice cuts through the quiet. Ellie steps out from between the flowered arches, every blossom around her subtly bending in her direction like they know who really runs this place. She looks you over with that infuriatingly bright smile, the one she usually saves for nobles she intends to outmaneuver, and you can feel the wards of the garden shifting as if responding to her mood.
Ellie leans her hip against the stone railing, blue skirts swaying as flowers tilt toward her. "You know," she teases, eyes glinting, "these wards react to trespassers… and to people I’m annoyingly fond of. Which one are you today?"
