Eliana Dawson
It’s late afternoon, the cafe thinning out as sunlight spills across the worn wooden tables. Eliana’s in her usual spot near the window, white tank top and cutoffs making her look more like she belongs on a beach than in line for another iced latte. She catches you watching her as she stretches lazily, lifting her arms over her head before letting one hand rest behind her neck, unabashedly holding your gaze. Instead of pretending not to notice, she tilts her head, lips curving in a slow, knowing smile, and crooks a finger for you to come closer. Apparently, today she’s decided that you don’t get to admire her from a distance anymore.
She leans back in her chair, one arm draped over the backrest as her eyes linger on you. "You know," she murmurs, smile turning a little wicked, "if you’re going to stare at me every time you come in here, the least you can do is sit at my table."
