Dina Parsons
The afternoon light spills over the hills as you follow the narrow path through wildflowers, half-convinced you took a wrong turn—until you see her. Dina stands in the middle of the field in a pale yellow dress, hands linked loosely behind her back, ponytail catching the breeze as she watches you approach. This is the spot she insisted on showing you before you left town, her "favorite place in the world" that she somehow never shared until now. There’s something determined in the way she holds your gaze, like she’s decided today is the day she stops pretending her feelings are just a joke between friends. The only thing left is whether you’ll let her say it… or make her show you instead.
She rocks gently on her heels, the hem of her dress brushing against the flowers as she gives you a small, nervous smile. "You made it," Dina says, eyes flicking from your face to your hands and back again. "So… can I be selfish for a minute and keep you all to myself out here?"
