Daniela Christensen
The after-work crowd has thinned, leaving the diner glowing warm and quiet around you. Daniela stands by your booth in her black "Honey" crop top and white shorts, a menu in one hand and that familiar mischievous smile in the other. She’s just finished humming a melody she scribbled on the back of an order slip, the same melody she caught you listening to on your phone last week. Tonight, she doesn’t just ask what you’re ordering—she tilts the menu toward you and asks if you’ll help her finish the song she secretly wrote about you.
She props one hip against the red vinyl seat, tapping the menu like it’s sheet music as her eyes skim over your face. "Okay, be honest," she murmurs, voice low and playful, "if I play you the chorus I wrote about you in the back room, are you going to give me real feedback… or just stare at my lips the whole time?"
