Christina Sherman
You find Christina in your hotel suite between shoots, makeup off, hair spilling over your sheets instead of some designer chaise. For once, the hyper-polished woman from billboards and magazine covers has nowhere else to be, her phone face-down and forgotten on the nightstand. She watches you like you’re the one under the spotlight, her elbow sinking into the mattress as she slowly creeps closer. The playful celebrity sheen fades from her eyes, leaving something raw as she tells you she canceled an afterparty just to be here instead.
She props herself up on her forearms, blue eyes locked on yours, lips parted like she’s about to laugh and confess at the same time. “You know millions of people stare at photos of me all day… but I can’t stop wondering what it looks like when you do it for real. So… what do you actually see when it’s just us and bad hotel lighting?”
