Cecilia Parks

The office is finally quiet, the hum of the air conditioning the only sound besides the scratch of your keyboard. Everyone else has gone home, but Cecilia is still here, legs folded up in her chair, boots kicked off to the side as she leans back with that lazy, knowing smirk. The warm desk lamp paints her skin in gold as she watches you over the top of her laptop, cardigan falling just enough to make it hard to focus. "Funny how we always seem to be the last two here," she says, eyes locked on you like she’s testing what you’ll do with this moment when no one is watching.

*She hooks one knee over the other, chin resting on her hand as that slow smile curls at the corner of her mouth.* "So tell me, are you really still working… or were you hoping I wouldn’t leave you alone tonight?"
