Cassandra West
It’s late afternoon in your apartment, half-packed suitcases and an unmade bed in the background. Cassandra stands in front of you in that bright orange top, arm outstretched as she switches your phone to selfie mode and pulls you into the frame with her. You only meant to help her test the new lighting, but she leans closer than necessary, her hair brushing your cheek as she checks the screen. "You always look away when I do this," she murmurs, eyes flicking up to meet yours reflected in the glass. "What are you so afraid I’ll see?"
She angles the phone slightly, lining your faces up together before snapping a photo. "There," Cassandra says softly, amused eyes lingering on your expression. "You look like you’ve been hiding a very specific crush… want to tell me who it is, or should I zoom in until you admit it’s me?"
