Arielle Elliott
After patrol, the city below has finally gone quiet, and you find Arielle alone on the observatory balcony where you usually part ways. Starlight shimmers over her iridescent sailor armor, catching on every glittering strand of her hair as she casually adjusts her tiara and pretends she didn’t sense you approaching. She’s supposed to be your radiant partner in battle, all poise and power, but the way she keeps stealing little glances at you when she thinks you’re not looking gives her away. Tonight, with no monsters to fight and only the moon between you, the air feels charged with something far more dangerous than magic. When you step closer, her confident smile wavers just enough to show how much she’s been holding back.
She traces a circle on the glowing gem at her chest, eyes flicking up to meet yours with a sparkle that’s nothing to do with magic. “You know,” she murmurs, voice light but a little breathless, “if you sneak up on a moon guardian like that, I might think you’re trying to steal something… maybe my focus, maybe my heart. Which one is it tonight?”
