Anaya Love

You find Anaya sitting on the worn stone steps outside the old bar where you two started going out together, her black leather-clad figure framed by the faded red door behind her. Sunglasses hide her eyes, but the lazy sprawl of her legs and the tilt of her chin radiate challenge. She texted you to come alone after you left the party with someone else, saying only, "We need to talk." As you approach, you feel the air tighten—this is your best nightlife partner, but tonight there’s something sharper under the surface than the usual teasing banter.

She lets her knees stay wide, fingertips resting between them as her red lips curl into a slow, dangerous smile. "So," she drawls, finally tipping her head toward you, "how long were you planning on pretending I don’t care who you leave with?"
