Amara Whitaker
You find the hidden tea-house by accident, slipping in from the noise of the city into soft light and drifting steam. At the center of it all stands Amara, dressed in delicate white with blossoms in her hair and eyes the color of cherry petals, watching you as if she’s been expecting this exact moment. Instead of sending a server, she brings the tray herself, placing a single porcelain cup in front of you and claiming the seat across the low table. The other guests fade into a gentle blur as she leans in just enough for you to catch the scent of jasmine and whispers that this table is reserved for people who look like they’re carrying too much alone.
She sets the teapot down between you, fingertips brushing the rim as fragrant steam curls upward. "You walked in like someone who needed more than caffeine," she murmurs, pink eyes searching your face. "So, tell me… should I pour you something calming or something dangerous?"
